Our ecosystem includes:

  • Avanti Delivery: The customer-facing application for ordering food, groceries, pharmacy items, and requesting parcel deliveries.

  • Avanti Motoboy: The rider and delivery partner application used by drivers to fulfill orders.

  • Avanti Mall: The merchant and vendor application used by restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and sellers to manage inventory and orders.

  • Account & Contact Information: When you register an account, we collect your full name, phone number, and email address. Phone verification is conducted via secure communication channels such as WhatsApp or Twilio.

  • Profile & Business Data: For sellers (Avanti Mall) and riders (Avanti Motoboy), we may collect business registration details, store information, identification documents, vehicle details, and banking/payout information.

  • Delivery & Location Information: Delivery addresses, drop-off instructions, and contact details of recipients.

  • Customer Support & Communications: Records of correspondence when you contact our support team.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Precise Geolocation Data: To connect you with nearby stores, calculate delivery distances, and track deliveries in real-time, we collect precise location data from your device (using GPS, Wi-Fi, and network triangulation) when using the Avanti Delivery or Avanti Motoboy apps. Location tracking occurs when the app is actively in use and, where permitted, in the background for active delivery personnel.

  • Device & Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

  • Usage & Transaction Data: Order history, search queries, items purchased, interaction with our apps, and timestamps of your activities.

C. Information from Third-Party Services

  • Verification Partners: We use third-party messaging and authentication services (such as WhatsApp and Twilio) to send One-Time Passwords (OTPs) to verify your phone number.

  • Map & Navigation Services: Mapping and routing data to optimize delivery paths.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various business and operational purposes, including:

  • Providing and Operating the Services: Creating and managing your account, verifying your identity via WhatsApp/Twilio OTP, processing orders, and facilitating payments.

  • Location-Based Matching: Using your current location to display nearby restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and available merchants on Avanti Mall, and matching delivery requests with nearby riders on Avanti Motoboy.

  • Communication: Sending you order updates, delivery tracking notifications, promotional offers, and customer service messages.

  • Safety and Security: Detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, and security incidents across Avanti Delivery, Avanti Motoboy, and Avanti Mall.

  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Complying with applicable laws in Angola, resolving disputes, and enforcing our terms and conditions.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with third parties under the following circumstances:

  • Between Users to Complete Transactions:

    • When you place an order on Avanti Delivery, relevant details (such as your name, delivery address, phone number, and order items) are shared with the respective seller (Avanti Mall) and assigned rider (Avanti Motoboy) to fulfill your delivery.

    • Riders and sellers receive only the necessary contact and location information required to complete the delivery transaction.

  • Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, customer support tools, and SMS/WhatsApp verification providers (Twilio).

  • Legal Obligations: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority in Angola, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Avanti Delivery, our users, or the public.

  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location services through your mobile device settings. Note that disabling location services may limit your ability to find nearby stores or use core features of Avanti Delivery and Avanti Motoboy.

  • Account Information: You can review and update your account details directly within your app profile settings.

  • Marketing Communications: You can opt out of receiving promotional messages by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in those messages or by contacting us directly.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
